Three years later she made her debut as a choreographer with PABS.

After teaching for several schools in Pennsylvania, Jackie relocated to Vermont in 2000. From 2000-2005 she worked at Vermont Ballet Theatre School. In 2006, she moved to southern Vermont and opened her own studio, White River Ballet Academy where she served as Artistic Director for 16 years.
