JDB Policy:

We only fit dancers who have been given the go-ahead by their ballet teacher to purchase their first pair of ballet shoes or a replacement. We do not take walk-in's and do not fit inexperienced dancers.​​

Individual appointment

• All individual appointments are free of charge.

• For new pointe dancers, please expect a 45-50 min. fitting. More details are on the booking form.

• ​For returning customers or experienced dancers, please do not book an appointment when your shoes are dead. ​We strongly recommend booking at least 2 weeks before you need new shoes. The last thing we want is for you to walk out with no shoes! Please remember to bring your old shoes and avoid wearing large pants or long skirts as we need to see your legs during the fitting. Tights are ideal.

• If you simply need a replacement of the exact shoes you've been wearing, please first email Jackie (2 weeks in advance) to make sure your shoes are in stock. Sometimes it takes up to 4 weeks for specific shoes to come in. We are happy to ship.

• You do not need a fitting for a replacement unless you've been having any issues or difficulties. Please specify on the booking form and remember to bring your old shoes.

Group fitting

• All group fittings are free of charge.

• We are happy to take group fitting of no more than 4 dancers at a time.​

• 1 fitting will happen at a time and each fitting could take up to 1 hour.
